A Central Resent Police Force (CRPF) jawan committed suicide by shooting self at Pahalgam in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said on Thursday.
They told UNI that a CRPF jawan, identified as Ishwarappa, a resident of Karnataka, was critically injured when he allegedly shot himself with his service rifle at a camp in Pahalgam. "The injured was immediately taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead," they further said.
